IPS Cascais British International School, has long been a cornerstone of the expatriate and local community, known for its nurturing environment and high academic standards. Now, the school is embarking on its most ambitious journey yet: the launch of its brand new Secondary School.
Founded in 1982, IPS Cascais began as a modest Primary School with just five pupils. Over the last 43 years, it has blossomed into a premier school, educating over 400 students from 40 nationalities. Joining Globeduate in 2020 secured the school’s unique ‘family feel’ culture whilst providing the resources and global network needed to launch the Secondary School.
The heritage of IPS Cascais is defined by its ability to remain small in feel while being global in outlook. For decades, the school has been the preferred choice for families who value a warm, inclusive environment where every teacher knows every child’s name. Generations of alumni who remember IPS as a place where they first discovered their ‘love of learning’ – a core tenet that has remained unchanged since the 80s.
